Horseback riding is permitted on the front beach to just east of Trail 2 which is 1.7 miles from the entrance of the beach. No riding is allowed on the weekends (between Monday noon and Friday noon). A $25 permit is required which can be purchased at the Gatehouse. Groups with more than 2 trailers must obtain a special permit from the Gatehouse prior to the event.
