Solid Waste Division Mission is to
provide the citizens of Barnstable
with an
environmentally sound, cost-effective means of disposing
of or recycling municipal solid waste at reasonable
market rates that support all solid waste disposal and
recycling costs. The Solid Waste Division is an
enterprise account-funded division; no general tax
revenues support the operation of this Division, it is
entirely funded by the residents who use the services.
